Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) Connectivity
FWD is dedicated to providing reliable Voice-over-IP connectivity to all of its users. With FWD.Communicator, our user community is assured of direct, easy-to-use VoIP service, and this service also extends to users of all of the SIP services that have established partnerships with FWD.
Call-Me Links
As if all of that connectivity wasn’t enough, FWD.Communicator's Call-Me Link feature can be used to establish VoIP connections with non-SIP-enabled Buddy List contacts.
Sending a Call-Me Link to a contact provides that contact with an easy means to establish an immediate VoIP call-back to the sender, via FWD's FWDtalk service.
The recipient of a Call-Me Link need not be a FWD subscriber, they just need to be running XP on a PC that has a microphone and speakers (or they need to have a headset plugged into the appropriate jacks).
Webcam Video
With FWD.Communicator not only are users able to communicate by voice, but they can now broadcast video to their SIP-enabled contacts via webcam and receive webcam video from those contacts as well.
No specific webcam configuration is required (provided both parties have a webcam configured and connected to their computer system).

Instant Messaging
FWD.Communicator provides robust Instant Messaging service with which subscribers to FWD can send IMs to their SIP-enabled contacts, as well as to their buddies using the four most popular IM networks (AOL, Yahoo!, ICQ, and MSN).
And not only can users easily extend communicator's IM functionality from a person-to-person environment to a multi-party one, but they can do so across the different IM networks!
For instance, if you want to hold a group IM session that includes your sister (a staunch user of MSN Messenger), your Dad (a Yahoo! Messenger devotée), and your Grandma (AOL-all-the-way for Grandma), you can now do using FWD.Communicator!
Social Networking
