Quick Start Guide

Registering

  1. First thing you need to get started is a FWD number.
    • Your FWD number is like your phone number, it allows anyone on the network to call you.
    • You can also call anyone else on the network using that person's FWD number.
  2. Ok so now we need to get you registered up.
    • Go to my.FWD and click Sign up for FWD. Go straight there »
      (opens new window).
    • You'll be asked to fill out some boring registration forms (a lot of this stuff makes up your personal profile). Just follow the onscreen instructions and you'll be fine.
  3. After registering you'll receive an email with some more information in it.
    • Remember to jot down your FWD number and password.
    • You can read the letter later, it'll still be there after you finish the quick start guide.

Congrats! You are now registered with FWD and you have a number!

But before you can start making calls, you need to decide how you're going to connect to the network.
