Quick Start Guide

First things, do you already have an IP Phone and is it FWD certified?
- Yes, I do! (skip to step 2)
- No, I want to use my computer.
- No, take me to the FWD store, I want to purchase an FWD Certified IP Phone.
Ok now that you've got a phone, we need to get it connected to the Internet and the FWD network.
- For FWD certified products, configuration guides specific to your product are available on our FWD Products listing.
- FWD Standard Configuration Settings:
  - Username: FWD Number
  - Password: FWD Password
  - Domain: fwd.pulver.com
  - SIP Proxy: fwd.pulver.com:5060
  - STUN server: stun.fwdnet.net:3478 (Phone must be STUN enabled)
  - OR
  - Outbound Proxy: fwdnat2.pulver.com:5060
  - Listen RTP Port: 8000
  - Listen SIP Port: 5060

Ok, so let's test your phone out . . .
- Dial 613 to perform an Echo Test. This just let's us see if you can hear somebody on the other end and if you can hear yourself being "echoed" back.
- Another test you can perform is the Call Me Test. You can log into my.FWD and use the Call Me feature to see if your phone rings. If it rings, it means someone can connect properly to you.
